Vittoria square, the promenade of Naples is called
via Partenope; a part from the huge hotels, the
promenade has not interesting places; then you
get to the small Megaride island, where Castel
dell'Ovo and the Borgo Marinaro are. The legend
tells that on this small island the inert body
of the siren Partenope got entangled; this island
is a point of reference for anyone who wants to
know Naples and its history better.
